In 1950, Charles and Ray Eames designed a system of furniture that made no apology for or any attempt to soften their industrial attributes. Constructed of one-and-a-half inch thick Birch plywood, lacquered masonite, and powdered-coated steel framing, these Case Study Desks were designed in an effort to produce economical household and office furniture using industrial production techniques.
Modernica has been building Case Study Desks since 1987. Being at the forefront of rediscovering and re-launching iconoclastic designs, such as the Eames Office Desks, Modernica follows strict adherence's to the original design in regards to dimensions, frame construction and materials.
