The Atlantico Bed by De La Espada is a straightforward approach to a bed design, with all the essential planar elements, enhanced by the beauty of solid wood. The headboard features the intriguing grain patterns created both by the horizontal lamination of planks and the varied grain of the timber.
Available in American Black Walnut, American Ash, or American White Oak finished with a danish oil or a white oil.
The headboard, footboard, side beams and central support beam (used on wider beds only) are manufactured from solid planks of oak, cherry or walnut. The slats that support the mattress are manufactured from plywood.
All parts are connected together using specialist hardware provided. The bed is delivered in components requiring assembly (approximately 60 minutes work). Please refer to assembly instructions provided at time of delivery.

De La Espada timber is sustainably harvested in the United States. The trees on the farms are pruned regularly to allow for consistent grain patterns and fewer knots, ensuring exceptionally strong planks of the highest quality. Mortise and tenon joints, dovetailing and lap joints combined with slow-drying wood glue that seeps deep into the fibers of the solid wood create strong, unbreakable bonds adding long life to every piece of furniture they make.
