Fin Dining Chair is an iconic Matthew Hilton design, its sculptural solid wood form rigorously engineered and detailed for beauty from every angle. Particularly stunning from behind, Fin is named for the shape of the backrest which emerges from the legs as a fin from the sea.

• Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural color and grain variations in every plank make each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed.

De La Espada timber is sustainably harvested in the United States. The trees on the farms are pruned regularly to allow for consistent grain patterns and fewer knots, ensuring exceptionally strong planks of the highest quality. Mortise and tenon joints, dovetailing and lap joints combined with slow-drying wood glue that seeps deep into the fibers of the solid wood create strong, unbreakable bonds adding long life to every piece of furniture they make.
