Necklace is a real Audubon Bird Call with the addition of a tiny hand painted bird that has been sealed into the wood.
It has a long cream colored waxed cotton chord knotted onto it so you can adjust it to be whatever length is perfect for you.
Use: Twist the wood bead around the metal pole in sporadic bursts. Try to create tension. It takes a little practice. The bird call comes with a capsule full of powdered resin. Over time the call will become quieter. Sprinkle some resin between the wood and metal to renew the call.

Just like the one I had when I was a kid! So well made - especially love the tiny bird painted so perfectly on it! Amazing how you can really imitate so many birds with just this one simple device!
