Klippan works hard to minimize waste in their factory. As a part of this strategy, they have developed wool throw blankets made from 25% recycled wool. They do this by collecting fibers that fall out in the production and then process and re-use them. The recycled wool is a blend of all colors, which makes the yarn look like melange in grey/brown.
Details:
Sweden's Klippan Yllefabrik is a family business founded in 1879. All of Klippan's blankets & throws are produced from start to finish in company owned mills with an eye towards ecological balance. Their designers have created patterns that offer a straight and simple look with a modern touch, or more traditional designs with connections to nature and Scandinavian wildlife.
