Motherpeace Round Tarot Deck

The creators of Motherpeace Tarot have departed from traditional (and often patriarchal) imagery of tarot, and have instead embraced the goddess spirit. The feminist emphasis is balanced with several male figures present in the deck. Motherpeace’s round cards and primitive artwork allow the reader to rely on intuition rather than standard “black and white” meanings.

The four suits of the Minor Arcana are shown with the following primitive artwork:

Karen Vogel is a renowned intuitive who is widely known as co-creator of the Motherpeace Tarot deck and as a tarot reader, teacher and writer as well as an extraordinary artist. Her artwork includes wood and stone scultpure, puppets, beadwork, stained glass, furniture making and painting. Her work in natural and non-toxic construction incorporates her talent for reusing and repurposing building materials. Karen plants and tends habitat gardens in West Sonoma County California.

Vicki Noble is co-creator of the Motherpeace cards and auther of eight books, revising divination and world history to include women. She travels and teaches internationally. A professional astrologer and healer, she adapts Tibetan Buddhist Dakini practices for her students in private intensives in Santa Cruz, CA, where she lives near the Pacific Ocean, gardening and watching whales.
