This is sea salt mixed with organically grown scorpion chili peppers. For a while the scorpion chili, from Trinidad and Tobago, was ranked as the world's hottest pepper. It has since been eclipsed, but we haven't stopped loving it. Long live the scorpion chili!

Brady Ryan, owner of San Juan Island Sea Salt, was born and raised on San Juan Island, Washington. He uses the power of the sun to naturally produce his salt and, unlike most other salt farmers, lets the seawater completely evaporate — retaining the delicious mineral wealth of the sea.
