High-quality sun-sensitive paper. Historic photographic process. Prints a rich "Prussian blue" color when exposed.
Place any object or transparency on the Sunography paper, expose it in bright sunlight, and rinse to reveal a rich blue print. Unlike like other sun print kits, Sunography is light sensitive on both sides, to make two sided prints.
Sunography products are also made with superior materials – Sunography Paper is beautiful 5 x 7” sheets of 100% cotton white archival watercolor paper. Produce finely detailed prints that are suitable for tinting or hand coloring with any media.
Use old photo negatives, x-rays, bits of lace, leaves, everyday objects or printed transparencies to make designs.
A forerunner to the modern photographic process, sunlight sensitive paper (“cyanotype”) was first invented in 1842 and subsequently popularized by artist Anna Atkin, one of the first female photographers.
